Hey guys-
I've jumped upon the AAC boat, but unfortunately there is a slight problem. I transfered a bunch of .m4a's to my pc for burning purposes. It failed to recognize them as anything. Do I need to download new software? Maybe a quicktime update? How do I go about burning these on audio cd's? My Powerbook G4 was purchased just before the CD-RW drives were available....soo a LaCie burner is in store for the future....thanks a lot guys

Not sure about burning, but according to their feature list page, WinAmp 2 will play AAC audio files. There is no mention of AAC specifically, but I would assume that 3 will as well.

I'm assuming you do not have a CD-RW drive in your machine now, or you would just use iTunes. Why not just upgrade your machine with a DVD/CD-RW combo drive?

I've had good luck installing this drive in G3 and G4 towers. This drive does support iTunes and finder burning in Mac OS 10.2+ Mac OS 9 support is spotty however.
I'm cookoo for Cocoa Apps!
