New user. How do I change picture resolutions in iPhoto?
I use a 4mb camera and the photos are too big to e-mail.

From the File menu, choose Export.

From that pane, you can size downsize it and export it to a jpg, etc.

I am stupidest when I try to be funny.

Isn't it just easier to hit the email button in the bottom pane of iPhoto2.0 and it will ask you to set a size. It will even tell you the estimated size of the resized image. If you use the Mail app I think it will compose an email in that app but you can go to iPhoto's preferences and select your email app of choice and that is where the new image will go -ready to be the attachment of your email.

Probably. I rarely use iPhoto and just launched it for a test and a quick reply.

One may want to drag and drop a photo into an email, however, it will be too large if not converted to smaller size beforehand. I normally use the mail button which will open Entourage and allow me to change the size for emailing as the above poster mentioned. But I sometimes have hotmail open and would like to just drag a photo into it, thus avoiding Entourage, but photos come out too large. I would also like to downsize before emailing. I will have to give the export idea a try.
I don't need no stinkin' signature!
