Ok, i just bought me a Superdrive (4x) for 150 bucks last night for my G4, and got a copy of iDVD on the way. One of my 1st learn to do projects is I have about 500 Movie trailers that I want to put to DVD. Well we have all been to Apple's site and seent hat the video are croped at widscreen. Will iDVD handle these videos ok and incert black space where needed? I'm owrried it'll strech the video like it does in iMovie. or do i need to aquire a copy of DVD Studio Pro to do this Correctly. Thanx Guys.

iDVD will stretch the trailers to fit the 4x3 aspect ratio. All is not lost however... there is a workaround. It's a bit of a pain in the a$$, but it does work.
You'll need to create a backdrop. Say you have a QuickTime clip that is 640x360. Create a JPG that is pure black at 640x480.
Import this into QuickTime Pro using 'Open Image Sequence (select 10 se/frame to get a 10 sec movie of your background).
Copy and paste this onto your trailer using Add Scaled.
You will then need to move the video track that contains the backdrop to the background (higher layer number).
You will then need to move the trailer video track down to the middle (or slightly higher than the middle if you so desire) of the screen.
In my example I would use QuickTime Pro to adjust size of the trailer Video Track, and stretch the bottom to a size of 640x420, then stretch the top down to restore the aspect ratio of 640x360. You then have your trailer with 60 pixels of black on top and bottom.
You can then save out the file (fine to allow for dependencies), and import the new file into iDVD.
It's a pain, but it does work.
