Looking for feedback on Canon Optura 200MC

I'm looking to buy a digital camcorder and i searched around and i'm about to settled for the canon optura 200 MC. I need a camcorder that has a very good video quality especially that i will transfer the video to my Mac and make DVD's...does anyone has any experience with this camera???? i found it for 700 bucks and if anyone has any suggestion please help me out...
