i was just wondering are there any inherent dangers i should be aware of when hooking up an ibook to an amplifier / PA system. i will be going from the ibook earphone jack to an adapter that will allow me to use a 1/4 cable to plug into the amp

i know it'll work, but just dont want to burn anything out in the ibook

I've been doing this for a couple years now at shows.. I think you only have to worry about voltage in (mic in).

So basically, don't run the PA's (monitor output) into your (mic in)

thanks for the info, i wont be doing any mic in, only music out, so i shouldnt have any problems.
