I have recently bought a new camcorder IP5 but I don't seem to get it export my movie into IMovie.

So,
1, Can I use the DV In/Out with macs?
2, Can I use the Camera as a DV bridge allowing me to get my Video from analogue sources into the mac and back out to the same analogue sources?

Sony's MicroMV format cameras are not compatible with Macs. They are barely compatible with PCs as you MUST use Sony's software with them (and the application is certainly no iMovie).

Run as far away from this camera as you can.
