How do I rip a song from a music-cd from MPEG2 to Quicktime?

VideoLan plays them track by track, but I cannot find a way to encode the track. DivxPro also appears unable to do this.

I don't get the question. A music CD would not be MPEG-2 and Quicktime is not an audio format.

Do you want to take the music track from a DVD and convert it to a format that QT can play?

DVD-audio then. Can your mac play it? If it can, then use audio hijack. Do you have a line in to your mac? Then audio hijack.

Honestly, without more info I can't help. I don't even know what format it is in. Probably not mpeg-2, though.
