Backing up itunes songs

I was just thinking that there could be a problem using a backup utility to backup your i tunes music.

If you have a song listed five times, for example, live version, studio version, version by another artist etc. the backup utility may not see the "album & artists" info to know it's a different file, no??

The file just has the name only folowed by .mp3
