Is it just me or does plugging in a firewire drive Lacie D2 200 gig FW400 to a Powerbook 17" make a hum sound....this is driving me nuts when recording music from my synthesizer. I have to unplug the drive. Any way to remove the hum completely and other noises that come from outside sources? Or do I really need to buy an M Box or other boxes in the 3rd party world..?
