I can export flash to mpeg 2 via quicktime but I loose the audio ? Anyone any experience getting this to work ? The quicktime export function says there is no audio in the flash movie even though there is audio present.

hmmm...

maybe, the sound in your flash file is allready "mpeged" - qtpro can't handle this! (e.g. you cannot export mpeg1 files into lets say .dv stream WITH sound... etc)

can you export just the sound of your flash file? (as aiff or whatever) maybe, we can do some "homework"

I use Compressor, and you encode the audio seperately there and then attach it in DVD Studio. I'm not sure, but if you had both the audio and video in the same stream, then it would be muxed? (i think) and not usable.

Actually, I don't think that mpeg to has an audio layer in it..I'm babbling.

Just export an aiff and link them when you build your DVD.

Need more beer!!!

hahaha...buddhabelly is on the right track. exporting to mpeg-2 via quicktime will not give you audio. quicktime won't make muxed (audio and video in the same file) mpeg's. you're gonna have to do the video, then do the audio to aiff, then stick them DVDSP or something.
