Is Apple EVER going to address the sound synch problem with iMovie? Is there ANY hope that this is going to be fixed soon?

I am making a highlights video for the local high school marching band. The movie is 49 minutes long, and I had already made 5 video tapes with the synch problem raised it's ugly head. I extracted the audio, and everything synched up again, but surely Apple can get a fix for this well-documented problem.

i assume you mean pre 3.03 versions? it seems to have resolved itself in the latest (3.03) version and actually runs very nicely under panther.

I am running 3.0.3 under OS X 10.2, and am still having the synch problem!

that is weird. i am runnin panther now, but it seemed to have rectified itself with 10.2.something.
