DVD Studio Pro 2 will not burn directly to a DVD-RW. It's annoying, but that's what toast is for, right?

Well, I burned to the DVD-RW in Toast, and for some reason, when I re-insert the disc into the computer, Apple DVD player won't recognize the disc. It appears on the desktop, and Apple DVD will launch when I insert the disc, but after launching it just gives a black screeen, and no matter what button you pick it says "Not Permitted".

The disc plays fine in all of my DVD players, but just not in my computer. And when I burn to a DVD-R, it works fine on the computer.

Can anyone think of a reason why this might happen?

The fact that it's a DVD-RW springs to mind

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean... I've burned other DVD's to DVR-RWs before, and they've played just fine in Apple DVD Player.

Are you pressing Play? I've sometimes switched a movie out and inserted another, while it launches, it says not permitted to every action except play.

Also, try to play it with VLC.
