I'm sure this is a real newbie question, but I can't figure out how to listen to iTunes while I'm transferring video from my DV camera to iMovie. It seems that the volume slider in iMovie has control over the volume of everything while I'm capturing video. So I end up listening to the audio part of the transfer together with my iTunes, or I have to mute everything.

I hope there's an easy fix out there somewhere

Capturing video is hard on your system no matter how you slice it. Listening to iTunes while you do your capture risks dropping timecode and other bad things that you want to avoid. It's not a bug, it's a feature.
