I have seen the emagic logic for education posted on their website, for only $99.
I am an educator and quality for the discount, however I cannot seem to find a distributor, and my university cannot seem to order it.
In addition, I would like to know whether files created on this software can be read/collaborated with by platinum/gold users.
any users of this software out there?

Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you, as I have the same question. If anyone has information about education discounts and perhaps a list of major differences between the basic, gold, and platinum versions I'd really appreciate it.
