I have here a movie folder with DVD files in it.

In the movie folder are .sfv files, and a folder called VIDEO_TS.

If I burn these to a DVD-R as files in a data disc in Toast, will it work as a DVD-Video disc?

i have no idea what .sfv files are, but if you drop that VIDEO_TS folder into Toast, and burn as a data disc (DVD-ROM, UDF), it should work as a video disc. if you want, you can also add an empty folder named AUDIO_TS; some say it's necessary, but i've never had problems playing discs that didn't have the AUDIO_TS folder.
