Mixman replacement for OS X?

Hey:

I used to use Mixman on OS 9 to arrange and improvise with Recycle trk files. However, it hasn't been updated for X, and it doesn't look like it will be. So...

1. Does anyone know of another similar app that allows you to play loops via the keyboard? I'm looking for something super simple - I don't want to have to learn (and buy!) Reason or the like.

2. Or another app besides Mixman that reads .trk files?

My goal is to make simple, Fatboy Slim type big beat stuff. Any input appreciated.

Thanks!

Try Live. It's a lot like mixman but more capable and has a broader scope. Or apple's Soundtrack
