I keep trying to import an mp3 file into FCP 4 and it keeps clicking every few seconds. I suspect it is because the preset is 48hhz audio, but I can't figure out how to change it. Any suggestions?

FCP doesn't like compressed audio files. You need to either get an original copy of the file (preferable) or take the file and use QuickTime Pro to convert it to AIFF (if need be).

Thanks, I was afraid of that. Its so painful to have to change it to an AIFF first, but oh well.

Not really sure how to do it in QTP, you might want to start a new thread with this question though, it will reach a larger audience. Good luck.
