I have quite a few DivX files that I would like to convert to DVD. The problem is that they are 640x480, and when I convert them to MPEG-2 and burn them to DVD, the top and bottom of the video is cropped. Is there a way to make the video 720x480? (either by stretching out the video, or by adding 40x480 black borders to the left and right sides of the video to make it 720x480) this is getting really frustrating!

What app are you using to convert to mpeg-2? ffmpegx has a default to do letterbox, if you uncheck it should fill full screen.
