Mixing multiple mp3s?

Was wondering if anyone could recommend an app (preferrably OS X) that allows mixing and editing of mp3s? Nothing too pricy or complex (and shareware is of course, ideal) - just wanted to do some simple splicing of a few tunes to lay down with longer iPhoto QuickTime files.

Give Amadeus II a try. I use it to edit MP3s for use in slideshows.
