Is there any way a TVR along the lines of EyeTV can support more than 125 channels? I've got the sattelite box for DirecTV and I want to watch/record the live footage from the external tuner rather than be forced to use the measly little 125 channel tuner inside the TVR. Can anyone recommend a solution to this little quandary?

If you want to record your sat. you have to use the box for directv. Nothing else can decrypt the broadcast. the 125 channel tuner is for standard broadcast/cable only.
