Hi all.
I'm pretty handy with the ins and outs of ripping DVDs, but I thought I'd toss this off here before I go wasting a bunch of time.
Here's the situation:
I captured the first two Alien movies with my Eye TV, and like I normally do, made a DVD of each. Now I'd like to get the video OFF of them so I can make a single DVD with both movies on it (these are Eye TV MPEG-1 video DVDs, so they'll fit).
Is this possible without losing resolution or resampling? If not, I can just wait until they come on HBO again.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Scott

OSex gets me the VOB, but then, I can just copy those off the disk, anyway. Can I just dump the two VOBs in Toast and let it burn?

I don't see why not. If you're short on media, have Toast make a disk image first and see if DVD player likes it. If not, try extracting the elem streams instead of VOBs

I would look into ffmpegx, it has a join feature that works pretty well without reencoding. Also Try Sizzle.

Hiya. Thanks, but I don't need to join them. I want to be able to put two movies (with menus) on a single DVD.
I picked up some DVDs yesterday, so I'll give it a whack tonight and report back.
Cheers
Scott
