I seem to have found a bug in iDVD 4.

When you make a slideshow that uses an iTunes playlist as the background music it does not work correctly.

I made a playlist in iTunes consisting of 3 songs.
I then applied the playlist to the iDVD slideshow and made the show 'fit to audio'
I tested the DVD before I burnt it and the slideshow played correctly by going through each song once, with the slides ending at the end of the 3rd track.

When I burnt the DVD though it did a different thing altogether.

Instead of the 3 tracks as background music I now have the first track looping until the slideshow ends. In fact the slideshow plays through 3 and a bit times the length of the first track (which is the same length as the 3 tracks I selected)

I have tried this with two different slideshows and playlists and the same thing happens.

Seems as though you can't use a playlist (i.e. more than one track) as background music for a slideshow, which is claimed as a new feature.

Any idea if this has been fixed yet?

I know we had a new version a few months ago, but I don't want to waste a DVD for a test.
