I've got a bunch of Audio files ripped on a PC using WMP (WMA's) on my HD and backed up on CD that I want to play on my Mac; i.e. convert to MP3 or AAC (pref MP3), so I can play them in iTunes, is there any app/audio file converter out there (for 10.3+) that can do this?

I can't believe there isn't more posted on this topic...
Anyway, its a pain in the butt really. And any solution is going to take away a little quality from your music files...
I'm a Mac user but I have some PC friends and they have used a variety of different tools... most you have to pay for (around $25) but there are a couple of free ones I have heard of...
Look for dBpowerAMP found here:
http://www.dbpoweramp.net/dmc.htm
There are probably others, go to c|nets download page and under the Audio link search for WMA to MP3 Converter or something to that nature... then refine your search for free software if that is what you are looking for...
Hope this helps...

This subject was just covered in the Software forum.
Anyway, Audion will convert WMA files to MP3. Unfortunately, it's doesn't yet support AAC playback or encoding. Get Audion from http://www.panic.com/

Hmm, that's strange. It works fine on my system. I just downloaded a .WMA file using acqlite and it converted easily.
