Suggestions for a cheap firewire mixer?

I'm looking to hopefully buy a cheap firewire mixer. I'm not looking for too much, just enough to hook a couple of guitars and a mic or two into it so I can do a bit of recording with GarageBand other than just plugging a mic directly into my Powerbook when recording jams. I'd rather get a FireWire mixer now so that I can later use it with some more advanced software down the road.

Any suggestions? Would a USB mixer suffice?
