will a Sharp VL-NZ50U Mini DV work with imovie

Hello
Does anyone know if this camcorder will work with imovie? Sharp VL-NZ50U Mini DV Viewcam Camcorder IT”S not listed on the apple imovie web site.
I don’t want to buy it if it wont work. Thanks fred
