Compressor needs the best Video card?

That s what I heard.
I thought that the Eport from FCP4 to Compressor was only using the Processor...
hummm...., anyone?

Compressor has nothing to do with the Video Card.

Compressor WILL NOT work without an AGP graphics card. I found that out while trying to use a G4 that had been stripped out to use as a server to compress QTs for a website.

I've no idea why Compressor wants an AGP card, but if you pull it out it'll refuse to work.
