Convert AVI to WMV?

	I'm having some real problems with an AVI file. The video is encoded in Windows Video 9 (WMV3), which means that ffmpeg can't play it, and since it's an AVI file WMP for Mac won't play it. I have VPC, but I don't want to watch the video there as the playback is awful. So I'm looking for a way that I can convert it into a WMV file, passing through the video, and re-encoding the audio if it's necessary. I've tried multiple Windows tools, but none that can do what I would want done. I've tried ffmpeg, but WMP wouldn't play the file.
