If so, how? This is a DVD from within the company I work at, and doesn't have any holywood style copy-protection. I have a Canopus A/D converter, so I could grab it off the analog outputs on my DVD player, but is there a way to capture it digital to digital, straight from the DVD to iMovie?

Thanks!
Mike

iMovie only uses content in the DV codec. You could convert to DV with the likes of QTPro and the MPEG-2 Decoder component from Apple, but it wouldn't be a whole lot faster than real time, and then there's the audio to worry about (QT won't decode AC3 or MPEG audio; and I don't think it decodes PCM audio either, depending on container format). I think the hardware DV bridge will be the most hassle-free, especially if you're not already familiar with the DVD ripping tools available.
