Hello:
I'm a converted PC user and have been messing around with the garageband program. After recording a few guitar tracks and playing it back I received a message that said there was a system overload. I don't have much on my 1.6GHz G5 and I shouldn't have a problem playing this back in real time. How can I stop this error from occuring? I have the processor boosted to high what else can I do???

How much RAM do you have? If you are at the base 512mb you might see that being the culprit...

I have been playing with GarageBand since it came out. And it is a real ressources hog. Make sure to run no other programs in the background. I get around Ok with a 1Ghz G4 and 1.5Gb of RAM, but it can be frustrating. A few recorded tracks and a few effects and it crawls. They have to work on the optimisation, because it's an amazing program.
