We have been having trouble with an iMovie project when we try to create a new iDVD project and go to burn it. it goes through the motions and gets to a point and the DVD ejects and we get the following error message
"error during rendering/encoding:Audio_reunion 2002 movie"

Reunion 2002 movie is the title of the project.
We are using the verions of iDVD that came with iLife 04' and it's different than the previous version, not quite as easy to use.

If there is anything obvious I would love to hear some comments.

A thought...

1) How much disk space is available for rendering the movie? If you are tight, you might run out. I don't know what message iDVD would report...

iDVD needs 12 (twelve!) Gigs of hidden, temporary HD space to work properly!

maybe your disk needs a little sprign cleaning

Well, after much time wpent with the poorly written tutorial we were able to get a DVD burned. Instead of creating an iDVD project from iMovie I launched iDVD and then brought in the movie file created by iMovie.

This program is definately not as easy to use as the previous version.

Hard disk space is not an issue, we have a new G5 1.8 with 160 gigs, and very little put on it yet.
