I need to do sound editing for use in DVD Studio Pro. I need to do some clipping, fades, etc. and I know there are cheap tools out there that can get the job done. But...
I received Peak 3.3 LE with DVD Studio Pro and can upgrade to Peak 4 for $299 if I remember right. But then I noticed Logic Express on Apple's website and wouldn't mind a better sequencer program than GarageBand.
Can I do the editing I need with Logic Express? Can I perform audio manipulation (non-destructive) such as non-linear editing and fades? If Logic Express can do this then I may have found my audio editing tool plus more for the same $299.
So if anyone has experience with either Peak and/or Logic Express and can tell me which will give me the most bang for the $ then I'd greatly appreciate it.
