Hi,
trying to do a project for my schools winter guard. I was given some MPG4 files (along with the same footage on MPEG2 files) and I'm trying to convert them to .mov OR anything that iMovie will read to ultimately burn to a DVD for them.

the problem is when I convert it, there is NO audio. I've tried importing it into Final cut express with NO audio either. Exporting to any other file format may not be readable by iMovie(??????)

I have QT PRO

what should I do?

(BTW I also have a dv camcorder)

thanks!
Kent

i don't know too much about codec stuff, but it sounds like you might have muxed audio. you might try exporting them as individual video and audio files and then re-sync them manually.

Have you tried extracting the audio track from the movei, then copy it the open the movie again and adding it?
