Is there any way to convert a wmv file into something that I can use in a Keynote slide? Thanks.

Snapz Pro X. It let's you capture video from a window. I don't know of a cheap, mac based convertor that can do it.

if it's WMV1 (Windows Media 7), then ffmpeg can re-encode it to something usable like mpeg or avi. Otherwise, you can re-encode with windows apps like EO-Video or TMPGEnc in VirtualPC. I would try those before screen capture options like Snapz Pro because of dropped frames and tearing.
