Anyone know why RTCW audio does not play through Motu 828 when all other sounds do? Sound prefs are set properly and System, RealAudio, iTunes, QT, misc other apps are playing through correctly.

Thought it may be related to the clock rate, but setting it to Mac's built-in clock source made no diff.

Thanks

Since one of the latest system updates, I've had problems with my Tascam US-428 in VLC, where some movies would only play without sound.

I fixed that by switching the sampling rate in Audio-MIDI Configuration program in your Utilities folder.

I have to switch back and forth though, which is a bitch and *should* be unnecessary, since CoreAudio *theoretically* does (and did, until recently) automatic sample rate conversion.
