Converting DVD+RW to other type of disc

If I had one of the new DVD -RW & +RW Burners would it be possible to copy a DVD +RW disk recorded on my stand alone Philips recorder to either +R or even -R disc?

Would the Disc Copy option in Toast 6 do the job perhaps?

sure. or you could make a disc image of it and burn that to whatever type of media you want to use.
