I'm really amped for Apple Motion. I really hate After Effects. Ever since I had to start learning it a few months ago it has caused me nothing but problems. The 30 day trial lapsed leaving me with the bizarre and somewhat inappropriate desire to go ask Adobe for my money back. I have this animation project I want to get going with, and I would really like to see if Motion is the right app for the job.

What's the latest here-say on when it will be released?

It says "this summer" on Apple's site (I'm sure you knew that), but perhaps at WWDC? That event is becoming a little more Macworld Expo-ish.

You may be stuck with AE.

Try a demo of combustion 3?
