I'm on a dual g5, panther, running latest updates of all software. I was in the middle of making an iMovie when i closed the project i was working on to begin another (which used a clip from the 1st project). Upon closing the second project, I am no longer able to open iMovie projects or open iMovie. Rebooting and fixing permissions didn't do the trick. When I attempt to launch iMovie, it bounces once, then nothing. Subsequent attempts to open it don't yield any bounces. If i try to open it from another account, same result. Any thoughts? In a bit of a pickle here as I promised to have a project done this week for a non profit org...

maybe....

look in your library ...
you'll find there preferences.
look for anything with "imovie" in its name.
trash it.
restart imovie.

sometime, the dumping of the prefs helps some apps...

don#t expect any wonders!

ended up reinstalling 2x. after the first reinstall it errored on me, second reinstall seems to have taken..
