i keep getting amessage saying theres a connection error when i try to send my edit film back to my mini dv tape.

everything is plugged in fine and i am able to import movies from my mini dv camera as well as control the fast foward, play, rewind keys from iMove but when i try to share it to the camera, i get a connection error immediately.

any ideas?

here in germany we have for some silly tax reasons camcorders which are able to do dv-OUT, but NOT able to do dv-IN!...

have you checked your camcorders manual for this "feature"?
