FCP crashing

running OSX 10.3.4 on a G4 iMac with FCPv4 (256mbRAM)

hi all,

i recently ugraded to panther from jaguar and will soon have an additional 512mbRAM so that might be the thing but ...

my FCP worked fine under jaguar but in panther when i now click on the “sequence-settings” menu FCP crashes, which it never did before

why is this so?

i’ve tried trashing prefs, reinstalling the .app, repairing permissions (and panther was clean installed)

any suggestions appreciated
