hello, I am new to this board. I just did a search on DVD throughout this forum, and couldn't find any topics related to my question, which is pretty basic.

I just made the switch from PC -> Mac, and now that I have a Super Drive I wanted to burn DVDs that have music video collections of artists I enjoy but do not have a music video collection for sale. I was wondering, what program would I use to burn the DVD, and also what does the file format have to be for DVD players to recognize them? Thanks for any help anyone has to offer

iMovie, iDVD, and http://www.videohelp.com are your friends.

Between iMovie and the various utilities you'll find on VideoHelp, that will handle your importing/exporting/codec problems. iDVD will let you actually setup the DVD menus and burn the DVD.
