Hi folks

This morning, I noticed my M-Audio Radium 61 wasn't listed as an available input device (in Reason). Relaunching didn't work. I opened 'Audio/MIDI setup' and the icon for the Radium 61 was greyed - offline.

Accidently, while fumbling, I deleted the icon and 'Rescan MIDI' is not finding it.

I've tried to reinstall the drivers - which seems to go well - but the keyboard is still MIA.

No problems with the keyboard itself, which is powered (USB) and happy.

Really puzzled - my machine has suddenly decided to completely ignore a peripheral. Any thoughts?

Many thanks

check "more info" in about this mac, see if it's there in usb.

will check with my own tech, and see what else to try.

check the m-audio website... they were having some software issues... did you try looking for an updated driver?

Hi there

No - it doesn't show up in the System Profiler. It's drawing power, but my machine seems to be ignoring it.

The latest driver seems to be 3.1, which is the one I have. No word from tech support yet. Rather worrying, really. I can simply go in through a MIDI port, but it's much more hassle.

I don't have any advice but I have had the same problem with my Midiman 4x4 usb MIDI interface. While using Finale 2004c, the program states is expecting certain sound modules, etc. to be present. When I open up the Audio MIDI Setup, the configuration is fine, but the MIDI interface is 'greyed' out like it doesn't recognize it. Even after a rescan it doesn't find it. The interface is also drawing power (I see lights but no activity).

I have had this problem for a while. I have ProTools, Reason, etc. but haven't really used them enough to know if the problem occurs with them also.

This happens on my dual 2.0 G5. I haven't really used the software on my 1.25 Ghz AlBook.

Tim
