Hello,
I have used Handbrake successfully to convert VIDEO_TS folder into mpeg-4 file.
I dont have Quicktime Pro to edit my Quicktime mpeg-4 file. I have tried to import into Final Cut Express and this didnt work. Imovie wouldnt accept it either. It is too long for Imovie. So if I could split it I could use Imovie. I'm not all that conversant with digital video terms.
Thanks

QT Pro is only $30 USD. Take the plunge. It's an indispensable tool.

Didn't you get a license with FCX? Every copy of FCP comes with a reg code for QT Pro.

I have FCP 1, which appears not to have come with a license code. As you may have guessed I've beem trying to do this without putting my hand in my pocket.
