[PacHead]

I downloaded some newsclips, and some are PAL, some are NTSC etc.
Some are MPG, some are AVI (divx), some are AVI (xvid), some are WMV etc.

I can play them all back, but I was unable to import some of these into my iMovie.

Is there a universal video convertor for mac where I can make them all into the same format ? Sort of like what Soundconverter does for sound files.

If this sort of APP does not exist, I would be happy with a AUDIOHIJACK sort of app, which would do VIDEOHIJACK. I know this exists on PC, but I dont believe there exists this kind of app for mac, Ive done a search for it.

UPDATE - well I solved the problem, for most of the clips anyhow.

After getting a few codecs, quicktime will do what I need, for most of them anyhow.

I also found a APP that does screencapture movies for Mac, Snapzprox, but it's pricey, so I'll stick with quicktime for now.
