Hi,

Got a small problem with some footage generated on an FCP station, and just wondering if anyone might know what is happening here. Here's the problem.

One of the guys here has been working on an edit and has sent us his files as .TGA, now, for some reason the Inferno isn't recognising the alpha channels. Tried everything so far, but no joy. We wouldn't normally use .TGAs but instead use .SGI files, and I'm thinking there's an issue with Inferno and TGAs (the targas load fine in other programs). I might be wrong and wanted to check here just in case there mmight be a chance it's something funky that FCP is doing.

Cheers.
Rockstar Games - better than reality.

Fixed it. It was Inferno's Targa support causing the problem. God knows what made them think of using it rather than the standard .sgi.
