I want to burn some video file with iDVD .Burn device is Pioneer1.7D
DVD-RW connected with USB.but iDVD cann't find the burn device .How can i use the no butil-in device to burn with iDVD .thinks for you help!

iDVD only supports drives connected to the internal IDE bus...

search the internet for an extension "hurz & pfurz" - don't laugh, really hurz and pfurz... sounds a little german, but makes no sense...

but i do think, you cannot use dvd bruners via usb - too slow! needs firewire connection
