digital camera mess up TV?

	I just hook up a mini dv digital camera to my tv n for some reason, the sound on my tv just went busted after I switch it back to normal. What could possibly be the problem? Could the dv camera connection shocked my tv power or something n caused the audio to fail? I'm pretty sure it's the tv cos' when I try my dvd player, no sound is coming out fr the tv too. I did checked the rca connection n it's correct. So what else could be the problem beside my audio parts of the tv been busted? This had never happened b4. HELP!!!!
