I have about 4gb of tv programs downloaded off the internet I'd like to burn onto DVDs to watch on a TV. Most of them are mpeg-1 files, although some are DIVX AVI files. Is there any software which will allow me to do this? I remember Nero for PC would convert avi files to VCDs.

I have an iBook G4, external dual layer DVD burner (LG), Toast 6.0.7 and all the normal iApps.
MBP 2.16ghz 15"
iMac G5 1.6Ghz 17"
Powermac 7200/120

The full version of Toast 6 should create and burn VCD and SVCD disks, as well as work with your DVD burner. Perhaps you have the Lite version.
I haven't had much luck getting Toast 5 to make VCD disks from pre-existing mpeg-1 files but it does fine if it makes the mpeg-1for the VCD file from QT or avi files, or from the iMovie export dialog.
