I am trying to create a DVD from an iMovie and I keep getting this error message


"Broken refernce movie in"
"/Users/stephenleach/Movies/New Maraba/Shared Movies/iDVD/New Maraba.mov"

Now, the project that we are trying to convert to iDVD is not the movie that is being referenced in this error message. We had brought in all new content for the new project, rather than copying from an earlier project.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Recreating the project from scratch should get rid of the error but if this is too much work then I would just create a file in that location. If it then shows up on one of your iDVD menus, you could then delete it. If it doesn't and everything else works ok, I would just burn the project and move on.

you might try trashing the prefs for iMovie and iDVD. Sounds like maybe you've got corrupt prefs. Also repair permissions.
