I have some mansoon speakers that I got I think...maybe 2 years ago.
Decent size and subwoofer but recently when I turn up the volume I have been noticing a "static" sound that happens, sometimes the left speaker will kill out or get muffled and I kinda have to turn it down then up. But it only happens on some of my mp3 files and never on my AAC...that I have noticed.

Any help would be great thanks.

Just a follow up to anyone who is having similar problems.
I figured it out, I hope this isn't a commonly known thing but it was the system volume. I had it all the way up, for some reason even when my speakers volume was low there was crackling and static if I tried to change the volume using the little dial thingy that came with them.

I turned the system volume down to about half and the problem went away... like magic!
