I have the same model and unfortunately, Sony won't allow the ATRAC standard to be mac-compatible for competition reasons. You're stuck using Soundstage on PC until a developer tries their hand. I've been searching all over for something that lets me do it.
EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to mention one thing...you can use a miniplug to miniplug
stereo cable on the line-in port on your mac and record using any
recording app that accesses the line-in source.
